I also listen to KLTY, and after my present insurance went up $55 per mo. for 3 autos, and my home insurance seemed high, I decided to get quotes from Standard.

I e-mailed the contact for my area, and was immediately replied to from one agent; gave my home and auto info; was contacted by phone by a 2nd Standard agent ,very professional sounding, and asked some questions I failed to see as relevant...some you were asked.When it got down to claims, I truthfully stated I had a couple; my step-daughter backed into me in my driveway...damage was to her car;my p/u only had bumper damage..I filed on her car and fixed my p/u myself (deductible more than damage), and a comprehensive claim on my p/u when a deer ran into my front passenger side fender.

Then he asked about my credit ?? When I told him I was in Chapter 13, he said "o.k., let me run this thru and I'll call you back later today...that was 3 weeks ago...and the agent I e-mailed has not contacted me either !

Reason of review: Poor customer service.
